The making of didgeridoos and workshops

Every single year, Didjaman flies to the North of Australia, the only region in the world where this special phenomenon occurs: in the bush, some eucalyptus trees are naturally hollowed out by termites.

Didjaman goes there and cuts his didgeridoos, picking and collecting the prime quality wood in the world, so as to obtain instruments with a high acoustic quality.

After the “cutting” season, back in France, he handcrafts the didgeridoos in his workshop. He makes sure to respect the particularities of the wood as well as the bumps in it, following faithfully the violin-makers' techniques. Each instrument is therefore unique.

- You may also order your own didgeridoo from Didjaman.

The hand-crafted quality of this work allows to offer you instruments of an excellent quality, which will satisfy the most demanding players.
